It’s heartbreaking to report that this week I lost a friend, an inspirational artist and collaborator, and a member of the House of Roulx art family! May you rest easy Ben, and please know we all loved you very much. Your legacy lives on!
When we started House of Roulx, the most attractive goal for me was the chance to work hand and hand with inspirational artists from around the world. We have accomplished this far beyond what I had originally imagined, but what I am most proud of, and grateful for, is that House of Roulx has been able to embrace childhood friends who have been carving out their own creative journeys.
The two artists who have been the most important to me personally are Andrew Jacob and Ben Stebbings. Andrew and Ben have been best buds for many years. Being able to watch them explore their own creative journeys for 25+ years has been nothing short of amazing. Working together through House of Roulx, supporting life long friends, and gaining new life long friends is the definition of success for me. I am so grateful that Ben and I were able to connect in recent years working together on Roulx print projects. We helped play a little part in the legacy that will live on for you Ben, and for that opportunity, I cannot be more grateful.
You can truly rest in peace now my friend. You will never be forgotten! - Jared

To help support the Stebbings family during this challenging time please see the below information and visit the GoFundMe page at the below link.
Nothing will be able to bring Ben back but knowing that his family is safe and secure would have been his wish. Any time, treasure or talent you are able to share will be greatly appreciated now and in the future. Donations received through this GoFundMe page will be used to directly offset memorial and medical costs and other expenses Ben’s family incurred related to his death.
This will be a long journey for the Stebbings family and they are so grateful for the outpouring of support they have received already. As a community, we can wrap loving arms around Ben’s family at this difficult time with whatever support we can give.
