RODIN

Auguste Rodin, a pioneering French sculptor, revolutionized art by breaking from classical traditions. Born in Paris in 1840, he initially struggled to gain recognition but became renowned for capturing raw human emotion and movement. His most famous works include "The Thinker" and "The Kiss," which challenged sculptural conventions by emphasizing psychological depth and naturalistic forms. Despite initial criticism, Rodin is now considered the founder of modern sculpture, influencing generations of artists with his innovative approach to human anatomy and expressive power. He died in 1917, leaving an indelible mark on art history.
