A native of Los Angeles, Moses Mitchell has had a camera in his hand for over 30 years, growing up and learning under his father Reginald Mitchell--lead camera engineer for CBS News. Moses’ perspective is unique and his subject matter vast. His work has been seen on billboards around the world, on film, and television as the Director of Photography of Master of the Mix. His body of work features people from all walks of life: from Erykah Badu and Grandmaster Flash to Marka27, Cey Adams, and OG Slick. Whether photographing athletes, singers, DJs, activists, or graffiti and street-artists, Moses aims to capture the humanity, dignity, and the humility with which they strive to perfect their lives on Earth.
During the week of September 4th - 9th, Street Theory Gallery, Underground at Ink Block and House of Roulx unite to bring together local and internationally renowned artists for an inspiring week of street art, panel discussions, exhibits, and celebrations.
The 2017 Underground Mural Project will transform over 100,000 sq. ft. of walls at the Underground Ink park-- from a previously underutilized space between Boston's South End and South Boston neighborhoods into a unique urban park and visual playground. Stay tuned on Instagram for artist announcements and events through the week. Park officially opens on Saturday, September 9th, 2017.
