The Davenport Municipal Art Gallery, now known as the Figge Art Museum, hosted an exhibition titled "Collectors' Finds from the Sears Vincent Price Gallery" in 1966. This exhibition was part of a broader initiative by Sears, Roebuck & Co., which, in collaboration with actor and art collector Vincent Price, made fine art accessible to the general public through their stores and special exhibitions. The program began in 1962 and concluded in 1971, during which over 50,000 original artworks were sold.
