Bo Bramwell

My work is about healing the inner self. Delving into the subconscious mind and producing imagery that evokes mystical emotions in the viewer. Having overcome homelessness, drug addiction, a suicide attempt, etc., I have seen dark places and come out with wisdom that I believe is valuable.

In regards to this particular piece, it is a representation of my readiness to find a life partner. Having sabotaged relationships due to abandonment issues most of my life, I have finally healed those wounds and look forward to a future with someone who loves me as I love them. I believe in the power of intention. Intentions create thoughts. Thoughts create actions. And actions create results. The deer is my representation of the feminine. And the man in the Forrest is me. Waiting for love to find me. I wrote a poem about the piece.

“A Mystical Manifestation”
Vulnerable with my pen
A strike at the divine
Hands shaking and trembling
Love within the vine
Dying to the old
Awakening to the new
Blocked from finding the one
True love I did eschew
Heart resurrected from dust
The feminine comes to light
She walks toward me slowly
Newfound love is in her sight
I will wait until she comes
From out behind that tree
Manifestion of the one
